Frequently Asked Questions

1

Do you use piercing guns?

We never use piercing guns or "Handheld Pressure Devices" to pierce! We want the best for you and for your healing piercings. We only use sterile, single-use hollow needles specifically designed for body piercing, and strictly adhere to aseptic techniques. If you are looking for more clarity on our piercing process and cleanliness practices, please reach out!

2

What kind of jewelry can I choose from?

We strive to provide our clients with many high-quality and biocompatible options to choose from. Our most-recommended material for fresh piercings is Implant-Grade Titanium. Glass jewelry is also ideal for fresh piercings and safe stretching practices! We also offer an assortment of niobium and 14k-18k gold.  Can't find what you're looking for? We are happy to custom-order jewelry for you! Please reach out and schedule a consultation to discuss your aesthetic preferences, price range, and piercing needs.

Mill Certificates for our Implant-Grade Titanium pieces are available upon request.

I want a new piercing but I don't wear silver-tone metals. What else can you recommend?

We are pleased to announce that we now offer anodizing services for our titanium pieces! This means you can have that yellow-gold look at a more affordable price. The process of anodization changes the way light reflects off of the titanium, without leaving behind a coating that will flake off and potentially irritate your piercings. Titanium can be anodized to most colors. We are commonly asked to anodize pieces to a yellow-gold tone. Bronze, purple, blue, pink, and green tones are also possible. We offer our anodizing services for a small fee. Schedule a consultation if you would like to learn more!

What are your ID requirements?

Please bring a valid photo ID with you to your appointment. If you are under the age of 18, you will need a parent or legal guardian to accompany you.

All parents/guardians will need a Government-issued valid photo ID, and all minors will need a valid photo ID (such as a Drivers License/Permit), as well as an original Birth Certificate. If you need clarification or have any questions about ID requirements, please reach out!

5

What do I do if the piercing I want is not listed under your services?

If you are looking to book an appointment for a piercing or service that is not listed, please reach out or schedule a consultation. We are happy to perform most piercings after a thorough client consult discussing anatomy and realistic healing expectations. If you are looking to book a genital piercing, please schedule a consultation or reach out using our contact form.

I am concerned about how my piercing is healing. Can you help?

We are happy to provide you with support and guidance throughout the healing process! Please book a piercing check-up or a consultation so we can thoroughly discuss any healing troubles and general concerns. We recommend downsizing throughout the healing process as needed to avoid any jewelry snagging or excess movement. We also often recommend warm sterile-saline compresses to help with circulation and calm irritation. If you are concerned about jewelry materials and potential allergies, we have plenty of options and advice to share! Please reach out for more information on troubleshooting an irritated piercing.
